Full service, MOT, air-con recharge, battery test, and 4-wheel alignment on our Kia Sorento. Great job from my initial phone call (our first time with Boam Automotive Engineering) to book the car in and describe what was needed to the work being carried out on the day. Michael kept in touch to let us know how the work was progressing and what needed to be done, and there was a full verbal and printed report when we collected the car. I found Boam through Google and saw that they had a very high score, and the only 2 negative reviews (out of more than 160 total) were not convincing, so "I went for it" and was pleased I did. Helpful, friendly, very professional, and the premises were clean and tidy. Excellent work, and we'll be back! Thank you, Michael.

Our second visit to Boam Automotive. Just a few days before Christmas our Land Rover developed a serious power steering fluid leak: from full to almost empty in just 2 or 3 short, local, trips. Boam took it in to diagnose the fault (a leaking p/s pipe) on the Monday afternoon, they got the part Tuesday, and fixed the car ready for return to me on Wednesday morning. Brilliant, honest, efficient, and friendly service by all -- Lesley, Michael, and the workshop techs. And a complementary vehicle health check included. Recommended, and we'll continue to take our vehicles to Boam Automotive. Thanks, everyone.

February 2023
The complementary health on my Land Rover just before Christmas (above) showed that the suspension bushes on the front suspension arms were in a bad way and the arms needed replacing (bushes not available separately) pretty soon. So, back to Boam in February and had the work done. As before, good work by a friendly, thorough, and efficient team who also checked with me that important car age-related work (timing belt change) had been carried out prior to them working on the car for the first time last year -- this attention to detail makes them standout. Thoroughly satisfied!

Took my Range Rover in for a wheel bearing. Cheaper than a main dealer but quality of work and level of service was in fact better.

I needed a new wing mirror they told me to come in and see what needed doing. I was ill the day I had to go so they arranged another appointment for me. When I went I was only waiting a few minutes and they said it was all done as they had already ordered the part. I was recommended by my husband who has had a few repairs done by this garage and swears by them. After the fast and very courteous service I received I shall certainly be using this garage in future. Its also nice to support a small local family business instead of a large company.

Had my daughters bmw 118d in for a new pinion seal as was leaking. Quotation was received in fast time. Happy with the quotation we booked in and all work was completed to a high standard. First class garage.
